Since I am a Christian, I do believe that things like that exist. I had issues with nightmares for many years as a little girl, and because of that had seen some very unpleasant things. I was taught how to get rid of this problem though through God. I basically had to learn to stand up for myself and tell it to go away, and it did. Unfortunately things like that can mess with our heads, and a lot of it is learning to say no and that you will not accept this in your life.

I heard so many stories about people possessed by evil spirits, but I don’t know if those stories were true or not. For now, I’m not going to believe them unless I could see them with my own eyes.

I absolutely believe in possession. It is the main reason why I don't like to watch possession or exorcist movies. I like my supernatural dark and twisty, but that is a little to real for me.

Yes I believe in evil spirits and people could be possessed by evil spirits. However the possession is not limited to human bodies alone. It could also possess animal bodies. Evil spirits are eager to possess any type of body because they are utterly denied to have a body of their own. That's why they are just "spirits". It is written in the New Testament.

It`s funny that you are talking about this topic, because I was watching a documentary yesterday...Coincidence, or maybe there was some spirits flying around????

(just kidding)

But, actually, I also heard stories/testimonies about possesions. Don`t know what to think.....

I certainly believe in evil spirits. I am not sure about being possessed. I do believe that it has happened in the passed, but not sure if it still continues on today. I would lean toward that it does still happen. However, I believe if it does, he those who are Christians cannot be possessed because the Holy Spirit and an evil spirit cannot dwell in the same person.

I do believe that people can be possessed by evil spirits. How else can we explain series killers or mass murderers? I don't believe people are born evil, I think they have to open up themselves to allow this to happen. I feel that most of the time this is unknowingly because what rational human being would purposely set out to do some of the evil in this world. I also believe in exorcism. The person performing this would have to be very strong in the faith. Evil is very strong and in order to overcome it you must be stronger.

I don't believe in exorcism or possession. However, I believe in the belief of exorcism and possession, and I believe that that belief is extremely psychologically powerful, and that it can manifest in physical symptoms. Our belief systems and how it affects our psychology and behaviors is one of the biggest influences there is in life.

I believe is ghosts and demons, though I don't know how I feel on actually possession. I've watched a lot of Ghost Adventures and there are quite a few times that the crew don't act like themselves, though they may be faking it. I lean more towards believing than not believing.

I'm not sure if I believe in the devilish side of paranormal behaviour like exorcisms or possessed people. Evil spirits too I have never believed in. Ghosts though, I am more unsure about. My grandmother said she woke up one day and saw her husband (who had passed away) sitting on her bed. I am inclined to believe her, but the science part of me struggles a little with that!

I do believe that people can become posessed if they have a weak will and allow themselves to be influenced by people with evil intentions. They open themselves to evil spirits by reading or engaging with things that involve a cult.
