I love the cover of this book. The Raven looks really cool posted up like that and it seems like the perfect image for what this book is about. Anyone else get chills when checking out this book cover?

Whoever made it deserves serious props!

The book cover is chilling! I saw it and immediately thought "scary, meant to keep people up at night".

When I saw the book cover, for some reason, I was reminded of Edgar Allan Poe. Especially since he has a famous work titled, "The Raven." The chilling, dark cover seemed like it would've perfect for any of his poems or stories.

Yes! I love the book cover. It reminds me of The Black Cauldron movie in its sinister appearance and dark quality. The fact that the bird is in motion almost gives the entire cover a sense of life and movement and I like the source of light from behind the bird, as if it is hiding almost.

On the subject of covers, I think the most simplistic are the most beautiful and attracting. If I have to spend a lot of time looking at the cover, I tend to get overwhelmed visually, but if there is a focal image and the author's name, then I associate the title, author, and image. That tends to help me remember the book better.

It does make me think of Poe too.

When I saw the cover, the words came out in my mind is "horror and scary." The cover is cool and I like it.

The book cover is awesome. It looks like a very interesting book because of the artwork.

I love the cover too and it is totally fit!

The cover of Raven's Peak is strong. It makes the appearance of the book powerful. The raven looks strong, proud and mighty.

I agree 100%. I am guessing that the author was working to bring the entire feel of the book around Poe's work, and since I am a huge Poe fan I really got that vibe that too.

This cover definitely caught my attention, as did the other two covers that were book of the day today and yesterday. I stopped by here because of this series!

I know right? I just love the way it is designed and the background of it.

I agree that it does remind one of Poe. I also agree that sometimes the most simplistic covers are the most eye catching. You can add too much to a cover. This one is perfect.

I agree with others here. I love the cover! It definitely gave me the chills and it gave the impression of a horror story. Great choice!

I saw an awesome cover on Amazon from a major publisher that destroyed itself with the words. The picture and color of it was light blue and looked AMAZING and then the name of the author and title were laid over top of it in the most awkward and pathetic way that I decided not to buy the book on that alone.

Covers matter.
