I do love reading children's books. I have twin nephews who are about 18 months, and I love to get them new books. I actually pick out books, that I loved to read to my kids. Also, I read a lot of young adult books, I have three teenagers and a pre-teen, it is a great way to bond with them. My oldest is 16 and throughout the last 6 years, we have read numerous series together. I think more parents should read with their kids, as it is a great way to have conversations with them.[/color]

Yes I do.
I love to read them because they are not realistic but I feel like I want to do so and I enjoy all the suspense and they are helpful to tell my cousins and they come closer to CZ of these books

I love reading them, it brings back memories of my childhood :)
I've been buying children's books for my cousins, nieces and nephews. Can you recommend some good books for ages 7-9?

Actually yes! I'm more of a YA reader but every now and then I get to read MG books. My favorite is probably The Little Prince.

I sometimes read children's books and YA books too. I love illustrated books, and there are so many really beautifully illustrated kid's books that it's fun to browse them in book stores.

Books belonging to children's genre never goes out of style, it's classic. I's like reminiscing your childhood, one of the best part of our lives. Never too old to read children's book right?

Absolutely. I love Roald Dahl books and have a great time reading children's books with my younger family members. They are sweet, full of morals that I need reminding of even today. I love the simplicity of them. It is nice sometimes to pull away from my darker, adult preferences and just be a child again for a few hours.

Yes... definitely... I love reading children's books. Whenever I visit the local library, I make sure that I also visit the children's books section as well. I do issue children's books once in a while from library for reading. They give you good different perspective and sometimes that's what needed in the "adult" life.

Absolutely! I love all books. Since my daughter has discovered that reading is awesome, I've been having a blast rediscovering old favorites. I even pulled out my books from 20 years ago!

I still read some of the books my kids bring home to read, just to check for any content I might need to help them understand. I confess to also re-reading childhood favorites of my own, as there is not more nostalgic trip than to remember how I felt the first time I read those words! Anyone else pick up Judy Blume titles in secret? :D
