Now that my children are old enough to enjoy longer books, I have been delighted to read them some of the chapter books I enjoyed as a kid -- and I still enjoy them!
Littera scripta manet -- the written word remains.

Absolutely love them! I love going to second hand book shops (although I am quite particular about the book condition. Hehe) and I always go to the children's books first. They are such a fun read! And I get to enjoy them with my nephews.

Yes, I still love to read children's literature. Even though I do not have children of my own, there are several books that I enjoy picking up and re-reading. I found some used copies of some of the Disney fairy tale books that I used to read as a child, whenever I'm feeling nostalgic, I like to read those.

I haven't read any children's fiction since my son outgrew our nightly reading sessions. How I miss those!! I did enjoy several of the series we read together - things like Harry Potter of course but I also enjoyed the series of Emily Rodda including all of the Deltora books. These were great science fiction!! I also enjoyed the Percy Jackson series, the Inheritance cycle (Eragon) series, and more. Children's fiction can be very entertaining especially if there is action, adventure, and some aspect of science fiction.

Yes! children's books are great for learning new languages. I also read YA and love staring at well illustrated kid's books.

Sometimes Adult books get a little cheeky and boring. After reading the whole 900 paged book you still can tell the story in just 3 mins. Children books are fun and seriously entertaining they wont depress you etc. :D :D

Yes indeed; I love reading The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling and also Uncle Tom's Cabin written by Harriet Beecher Stowe. They never grow "old" for me.

I sometimes go to the library and read books in the children's sections. Half of the reason is because I like finding books for my nephews and nieces. The other half is because I love children's books! (=

I re-read Charlotte's Web today! children' books have so much innocence, it makes reading them so special.
