I don't know the exact book but what I do know is that thanks to the I Am Number Four series, I'm a book hoarder and fangirl.

The first book I remember reading was "Cinderella". It had amazing drawings and big letters, which made it easy to read. A few years ago I gave it to my niece but I still like reading it once in a while. It makes me feel a kid again.

As others have mentioned, I remember reading the little Golden books. My favorite was "Tawny Scrawny Lion".

The first book I read was James and The giant peach. I believe that it was the cover and large print that made me choose it.

The Three Little Pigs. I learned to read it when I was four years old. My first thought of it was, that wolf is such a jerk.

The first book I remember reading is Aesop's The Boy Who Cried Wolf. I love the book because it was given to me by my mom and I felt very happy when I started flipping the pages because it is full of colorful illustrations. The story taught me that nobody believes a liar so we must always speak the truth.

Besides child fantasies, like Mother Goose. The first book that I remember, since I re-read it several times over the years is H.G. Wells, "Time Machine."

The first ones that got me into reading were Geronimo Stilton books. The text was nice, big, and stylized; so it made reading it as a child a little more enjoyable.

One of the first books I remember reading was The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It is still one of my most favorite books. It's an easy read but the wiring is clever and witty. The story line is delightful and adventurous. They made it into a movie years ago and it's kind of silly and doesn't do it justice but the book is still one of my favorites!

The first book I ever remember reading was a Dr. Seuss book. I had a whole collection and found them whimsical. After that I began starting to grab the encyclopedias off of the shelves just to practice reading. I have not stopped reading every since.

It was one of those "golden classic" books when I was a toddler.

The first book that I ever remember reading, is "Attack of the Vampire Weenies" by David Lubar. Which is an series of different short stories compiled into the different books. In fact, I loved this book so much, that the binding of the book came off from the amount of times that I read it. That is one of the experiences that I will never forget as a reader.
