One of the reasons Kailey and Sammy weren't so open to Malissa is because they were afraid of what people would think and say.
Do you have something you regret doing or not doing because you were afraid of what people would think?

The most regret I have is for things I have not done. It usually is not because of what people might think of me, though. I'm a pretty independent thinker, and how others view my decisions is not a real motivator for me.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is that I have often not said something that I should have because I felt that it wouldn't have been received well. I hate it when I get in situations where I feel like I should have said something and I didn't. I have been trying to work on speaking my mind more often, but doing it in the most respectful way that i can. Unfortunately we can't avoid disagreements, but we shouldn't be afraid to tell people how we feel, and that's what I have been trying to work on.

As much as I don't want to care about what people think, other people do run the world and their opinion matters. There are things I'm too afraid to do because of other people's criticism, and it's a shame.

I used to not say anything or go with flow even when I didn't want to when I was in high school. I've become more vocal now and stand by my opinions, but sometimes I still hold back when I am unsure because I don't want to sound like I don't know what I'm talking about.

I think we are all affected by others' opinion of us to some degree, whether for good or bad. Unfortunately, in my first years devoted to the Lord Jesus i shied away from many opportunities of expressing my faith because of my fear of what my peers might think. Sometimes, I still might struggle with that but I know the Lord Jesus is alive and well but he died for us on a tree so I have to stand unashamed for the Most High.

There are many things that I did or didn't do because of 'what people would say' and I regret that. But now I don't care and just try to do the right thing regardless of whether it's acceptable by others or not.

I'm sure in high school and college there were things I wished I would have done or said, but because I was too scared, I didn't. However, nowadays, I don't have this feeling very often.

I don't truly regret anything, but I do wish that I'd spent a lot less of my life worrying about what other people thought about me. It's just not worth it. (And the truth is, other people don't think about you nearly as much as you worry they do.)

My family have affected my opinions. I grew up hearing their opinions on certain matters that their opinion became my own. As I grew up, I started forming my own opinions.

My family made fun of the way I was clumsy, among other things, when I was growing up. Because of this, there are things I will not do in public, such as dancing, singing, or even using a public restroom.

I used to when I was younger but rarely now. Every time one of us is free to be who we are, we give others permission to do the same.
