My favorite fantasy series is Twilight but I also enjoy The Chronicles of Narnia as well. I like many fairy tale stories that could fall under fantasy as well such as Cinderella like Donnavila Marie01 mentioned, Beauty and the Beast, Repunzel, and so on.

David Weber's Honor Harrington series, in sci-fi books. In fantasy, the books I will probably be re-reading until I die are David Eddings' fabulous Belgariad and Mallorean series.
For the perfect blend of fantasy AND sci-fir - the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies - Avengers, Thor, Dr Strange, Ant-Man, Captain America etc.

Surprisingly, I don't have a favorite in either of these genres. I just have certain titles that I like. I liked the movie, Avatar. I also do like the Harry Potter series.

I hate sci-fi and dislike fantasy but always really liked Harry Potter. Part of the magic I guess.

The Matrix series was my favorite. But now there is a TV series which piqued my interest - The Magicians! I swept through season one and two just like that. Sometimes watching the TV series kept me up until 3Am. I'm eagerly awaiting Season 3 of the Magicians.

This was a hard pick for me, but I finally decided on Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. She captivated me from the beginning to the end, all six books. My first runner up would be Healer series by Maria v. Snyder. She blew my mind with a non-fictional world that even I almost believed was real.

I love Game of Thrones, but shamefully I haven't read the book yet, just the film. :?

On a lazy sunday morning I'd usually spend the whole day wrapped up in 600 layers of wool, a bowl of mac & cheese & ice cream by my side watching Grimm, Supernatural, Once upon a time, The originals, TVD, Game of thrones, etc. But If I were to name an all time favorite it'd be Game of Thrones. I never get tired of the bloody war for the iron throne

Me too! haha. It took two people to get me to watch it (I didn't watch scifi outside of star trek tng back then) and I didn't give SG-1 a fair chance until it was off air and on netflix. I've plowed right through it and now I'm checking out the offshoots. Would it be fair to say it's my favorite scifi series? Indeed! ;D
