Part of me would really want to tell someone I cared about eventually. It would depend on a lot of different factors though. Can I get in trouble, or will my loved one be in danger if they know? Will I be judged differently, or be less accepted than before? How much would I want my life to change privately? I don't know. Perhaps I overthink things too much, but that's kind of how I roll I guess, lol. Anyway, if I had the super power of being able to know the future, I would definitely tell my loved one I have that ability because I feel it would help them be safer. They would ask me if anything bad will happen and I can help prevent catastrophes.

I think secrets kill relationships and they have a way of coming up in one way or the other. So I'll be totally honest with people close to me.

Yes, if I all of a sudden had a superpower, I would want my closest loved ones to know about it, but only them - not the general public.

you know what they say about a secret ceasing to be a secret after a second person is made privy to it? That is what a secret means to me. I would never share that kind of secret with anyone. Infact, I would only trust God with it

I would tell my family, and my best friend. I have nearly no secrets from my family. It's probably different from person to person, but I don't struggle with this question at all because I trust and love my family unconditionally and I know they would never do anything to harm me. The only way I wouldn't tell them was if it had the ability to become either a burden to them or a harm to them, in which case I would never want them to know.

I wouldn't be able to keep it from my husband or close friend but that because I can trust them to keep my secret.

Secrets sometimes bad and good but it depends upon the situation. There are secrets remain secret until death on the other hand it might helpful to you and to other people once you reveals it. It's up to you to balance, ether to reveal or to remain covered.

You never know who you can trust so I'd keep it a secret until I believed I could trust someone completely to tell them.

I would definitely keep it a secret. I normally keep things to myself, anyhow. Having something this awesome would not be something I shared.

...wow! I'm so good at keeping secrets. I've kept even simple incidents to myself and if I'm suddenly to wake up with a bust of super powers, c'mon I'd keep it in(smiles).

I feel like my family would be so excited If I had a super power so I think I'd definitely tell them - it'd be hard not to.

I would tell my mum. I cannot help but imagine the horror in her face :lol2: She would later get over it.

I would definitely tell my partner. Keeping a huge secret (like a super power) would be way too lonely (and probably exhausting trying to cover it up all the time). My partner is my best friend and I love sharing my life with someone else. We could have so much fun!!! Definitely would keep a tight lid on it otherwise, maybe with the exception of my parents and my brother - depends on the power!

I would keep my power secrets to myself. Just not sure of their reaction. I do not want to spoil the love.

Of course I'd tell, it would be exhausting to try and hide something that important otherwise. And if they'd find out later I was keeping such a secret, they'd feel pretty bad and disappointed in me.
