If you could possess a super ability, what would it be? What would you do with your ability?

If it were me, I would want the ability to travel inside any book that I open. I would just use the ability to hang out and chat with all of my favorite characters! :D
I love that! I would love to be able to open a book and chat with the characters and see the scenes! Fabulous idea! I'll take that super power please!
I also love this idea! Wow, to be able to travel in any book that you pick would be amazing!! I want this ability too, please! :)

With one slight change - it wouldn't be every book I pick up (some be scary, dangerous, and depressing - i.e. WWII time). I would say that if I had this ability, then I can pick and choose what book I would want to dive into.

The superpower that I would want is the ability to teleport or become a part of any book that I read. I also agree with a fellow member that I would love to learn how to swim.

You would really enjoy The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde, assuming you haven't already read it, of course. :D

My super ability would be the power to heal sickness. No more cancer or Alzheimer's for anyone. People would be productive all their lives and we would die in our sleep without any pain.

Hmm, excluding simply overpowered or godlike powers, I guess a simple one if I had to only pick simpler ones would just be teleportation. I think its a simple idea of moving anywhere that could do a lot of good. The ability to move things and pack up and go anywhere sounds like fun.

With the increased speed comes faster healing, and just think how much money I could save never needing to buy gas, or heck, even a car! I could just run everywhere. And he has the ability to read extremely fast, too. I could get through a library in a day!
This is exactly what I had in mind! It's so cool to see everyone around you moving in slow motion because you are that fast! I think this could also extend to super speed reading. Imagine all the books you can read in a day. 8)

I think I would like to have mind reading power. It would be so exciting to know what the other person has on his or her mind.

I would want to read people's minds but not in a way that I can hear their thoughts when I don't feel a like it. That would be quite annoying.

I would want the ability to make anyone in my envirnment feel needed, wanted and appreciated. Going with that the feeling that everything is OK and will turn out right without them having to fight each other for it. I think that would help stabilise and make our human world a much better place and help us achieve a truely great society and planetary life not just for us, but all the other lifeforms too.

Teleportation for me. I think it would save so much time! I always feel like I don't have enough time and so much of that time is driving.

I'd like some kind of instant skill assimilation - as in, I can see someone do something intricate and know how it works instantly.

The human mind in itself is a super ability. You just have to know how to use it for the betterment of yourself and those around you :) Controlling your thoughts is the first step to success.
Never judge a book by its movie.

How about the super ability to love beyond measure? Will there be any takers? I myself don't know if I'd like that.
