That is a REALLY great way to live your life! If only we could all live our lives that way, the world would be a happier place!
Thank you, kandscreeley! :D I agree we would live in such a happier place!

This is not about my regret but about the regret of another person. He was addicted to gambling. He was a regular customer of casinos all over his place until such time that he had to sell all of his properties. When he got to his senses, he had nothing left even his family. He killed people including himself because he blamed everybody and himself.

I feel the same way. Are there little regrets? Yes, but more because they were time wasters but no big regrets. My past molded me into who I am today. And I like who I am today.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

My biggest regret is that I was never sure what I wanted to major in. This wasted a few years of my life until I finally figured out what I wanted to do.

My biggest regret is not being brave enough, and choosing the easier route.

instead
beat his heart until it was unconscious.

I'll have to wait until I'm on my dying breath to find out my biggest regret as my life flashes before my life.

I have learned through experience that past mistakes are just that: experience. There is no reason to regret. Everything can be learned from. Everything truly does happen for a reason. Even the worst of things- sometimes the experience gained from negative past circumstances is what you need to help another deal with similar circumstances- or even help them avoid making the same mistake you did! All regrettable circumstances eventually work out for the greater good of both you and those around you. You just have to choose to see them as opportunity, rather than tragedy.
Never judge a book by its movie.

Now that my mom is gone, I regret that I didn't tell her I loved her as many times as I could have. I hope that I can do that with my loved ones who are still around.

My biggest regrets? Cannot remember any experiences as of the moment. But sometimes I regret wasting my time or not being productive in a day and I regret not doing my best in everything I do.

kandscreeley wrote:That's a tough one. I think my biggest regret is not enjoying college more. So few responsibilities and yet I don't think we really take advantage of that time. I also wish I had really done more in the way of learning what I studied instead of just memorizing it for a test.

Wow....Thats exactly mine too, combined with some opportunities I didnt take up, which am now struggling to get, then it came to me freely...But am happy that I still can have some of them now..Apparently some opportunies come more than once. :

My biggest regret is ever hurting my mum. My heart broke the day I saw my mum cry because of me.
Most times, I fall flat on my face. But never do I remain on the floor; I rise again.

My biggest regret is mistreating the one guy who could've been the love of my life. My behavior towards him was and still is inexcusable. I have yet to completely heal, and I'm the one who commited the dirty deed. Before saying malicious words to a loved one, please note that you will eat those words afterwards. The taste will be so bitter that unless you forgive yourself you will never fully recover.

Not standing up for those who were close to me as I was more concerned about what will the society say.
