But my all time favorites are Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel... They were EVERYTHING to me at the time!

I read several of Clarkes' books and was introduced to Terry Brooks and his Shannara series in 1977 and I was hooked. After that I read everything he has written over the years. I also picked up David Eddings and all his books. Anne McCaffery took up many a weekend for me.
But, my all time, hands down, favorite author is (drum roll please) R. A. Salvatore and the legends of Dritz. I have read and re-read every book of the Dritz series and all the other Salvatore novels. I just relate.
