What is Your Favorite Sci-fi or Fantasy Series?

Post by Amagine »

Superhighway is classified as sci-fi/fantasy.

So here's a fun and easy question...what's your favorite sci-fi or fantasy series?

Harry Potter?
Lord of the Ring?
Game of Thrones?
Monster High?
The Matrix?
Star Wars?

Feel free to list your favorite!

Mine is the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett - I have read them all, and I am not ashamed to say I cried so much when he died! I also love the old Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I've not read them in about 10 years so maybe it is time for another read!

My favorite fantasy is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis and then sci-fi would have to be The Space Trilogy by C.S Lewis as well. Great author, great books!

I can't pick a favorite, but I'm finally giving ASOIAF a try, and I'm loving it! I'm looking forward to starting the second book.

I do love Harry Potter, though. I've been rereading them.

For fantasy, it would be Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Watch (Sergei Lukyanenko). For sci-fi, it would have to be Hunger Games.

My all time favorite is what has now become an obscure TV series, Babylon 5. Over five years, both the arc and the characters had amazing development. Other favorite TV series include Firefly and STNG. In terms of books, almost anything by Anne Bishop.
Interested in books that help one's spirit move beyond the ordinary.

Overall, between books, movies and televisions, it would be the Star Trek series. I love Star Trek and that includes the original, deep space nine, next generation, voyager, and enterprise, oh and the new movies as well!

Oh, it seems as if movies are included. I would say that The Matrix is one of my favorite sci-fi along with the Steins Gate anime series.

Man from Mars is my all time sci-fi. It is one of the books that stirred my curiosity and set me on a track to discover the wealth in books.

My favorite sci-fi movie is artificial intelligence. Yes it is an old movie but I still love it. My favorite fantasy story is Cinderella.
