Well, that's a tough call. Nadia also had some abuse, so it's never a good idea to let your kids witness either side of that coin. When they see how abusive the man can be, he may think it's ok and treat women the same or he may lose respect for his mother. He may also try to be the hero and defend his mother and if he does this at an early age, and his father decides to abuse him too, he may lose his own self-confidence and carry guilt with him into his adult life.

In Yasir's case, I think two parents are better than one, so I agree with his decision to stay especially since he can still be civil to his wife.

I was raised by a single parent who was not always the best of parent and I am a single mother myself and by choice. But my child and me we make it work somehow on our own. So I have side with Nadia too because I relate to her plight.

I'd go for Nadia's view as well. Being a 'complete' family doesn't necessarily mean being 'complete physically' with everyone living under one roof. Sometimes it's better to accept reality. Children are also not that stupid. Even if you lie to them multiple times, they'd know something is wrong.

Both but for the sake of my children, I would go to any length to see to it that it work. Giving up on a relationship that isn't working is so easy but we have to think of the well being of the children first.

Instead of such decisions taken separately they should've tried to mend the abusing relation.

Responsible parents should always put the welfare of their children first. It seems like both individuals made the best choice for their children if not for their own happiness.

I don't really think we can judge Nadia for her decision. The two are in different situations, and they needed to decide what was best for them and their families. In the end, there really isn't an easy answer.

A relationship is supposed to be enjoyed by both parties. Have you ever been in a relationship whereby your partner doesn't have a clue of what you want or even have a clue of why he/she has to treat you the way he/she did? Fights and struggles everyday? He/she is in a neutral gear? It's better taking off than being in such a relationship regardless of whether one has children or not. By the way, when hurt by the one you love most is more painful than when angered by just a passerby.

I'm on Nadia's side, she had a lot to suffer. I love the fact that despite her hatred towards her ex-husband, she doesn't take her son away from him. Instead, she allows her son to visit his father.
