There's nothing interesting like reading books about places i have never been before.
This helps me understand and discover a lot of things about those places and some stories makes me have a desire to visit some places.

I like reading books about places I've never been. When the descriptions are vivid, it lets me travel to new places, though virtually. I've always wanted to travel around the world but right now I don't have the capacity to do so.

it's an adventure on its own to read a book with places I haven't been to.I get the pleasure of joining the characters in their journey.

Sure, it helps us know more about different places which we may never be able to visit.

Sure! The intriguing knowledge of a place you've never been is always exciting. Having to use your imagination to vividly see how the place looks like. Awesome!!!!

Yes obviously! Besides the characters and dialogue in a book, the place (setting) is the next most important building block in a well plotted story. A place you've not visited invokes a desire of exploration in a reader. A good place description shows a writer who has done his research well.

I love reading about places I've never been. Some of my favorite books that describe locations in detail are any of the Dan Brown books.

Of course, reading about new places is fun to me. It can be quite challenging and confusing at times as one has to create a mental image of those places. The various cultures as described in this novel connects the reader to the places, indicating what one should expect when they get there.

Yes, it is like traveling without spending and being comfy at home. It feels like astral projection, being in 2 places at the same time.
