Most definitely. You work through your imagination with the help of the book. It is always different from the reality. Without having visited several places, a book helps in visualising the places making it more beautiful experience, in my opinion.

Yes of course. It makes me place myself in that place in my imagination and it feels good.

Yes, because I might never actually get a chance to go there but I might be interested to know more about the place. To satisfy my curiosity about the culture, environment and people that live there.

I think it depends on the level of description the author provides, if it's a detailed description then I love reading about places I've never been, to the point where if I visit them in the future, I always keep a lookout for the places described! If the place is poorly described, I just find the imagery frustrating as I can't picture it

Exactly and gives me the urge to want to visit them. It's also a way of learning other people's cultures and way of life even if you've not been there.

It depends with the writer's creativity, there are some genius who narrate in a flowing manner.

I love reading about different places. Even though I have never been out of the country, reading about these places gives me a picture of what is outside of my country. It makes me excited and eager for when I travel.

yes, i do. it makes me feel like i have actually been to the place even if i have not. books have this weird way to make me imagine stuff like i am living the things i am reading in real life. so yes i would like to read books about places i haven't visited. getting to know about new places is always a pleasure to me.

Yes i do. And my bet is that many do like reading about places they have not been as long as it a nice place. But also the writer should give a vivid experience of his/her visit there .
