You failed to see the connection of the two maybe because you do not like the songs of Adele or maybe you do not like the genre of the book.mkhasandi wrote:there's no connection between the book and Adele's songs

Even now as I'm writing this comment, I'm listening to "Hello" and I'm really enjoying it. I guess now I owe 'My Trip to Adele' a big gratitude for having widen up my horizon on music. Of course, I don't have to point out the fact that it is a very good book and that I recommend people to read it.

Adele's songs also pushed me to read the book books because I got curious how the authored put everything in place including the characters.Izesicle wrote:It's the other way around for me. I'd read the book because it features her songs. I'm curious to see the made-up context in relation to the lyrics.

Some of the songs of Adele may appear boring because they are too emotional, or sometimes, the lyrics are repeated several times. Still, I love most of her songs.Shinelyn Furtunna wrote:yah I love listening to some of her music but some are so much boring to me

I encourage you to listen to her songs then try to relive the story to her songs.Shreyoshi Sen wrote:No. I haven't heard her songs before nor do I appreciate the songs in the book.

I sort of agree with you, I wouldn't say I skipped the parts but there were some I did feel were forced in and not needed.Ssinghal wrote:Not really. I do not like Adele very much, so I kind of skipped the last of every chapter when they mentioned Adele's lyrics. I felt the lyrics were forced in and not required in many parts. So, the answer to your question is "No".
