Yes, I do enjoy reading books about places I've been. It makes me feel kind of an 'in' with the book and its author but for the most part, I prefer reading about places I've never been to.

I love reading about places I've never been to. I find that I get car sick whenever I travel but when reading about a place it just makes me feel like I've gone there. So it's just traveling for none travelers.

Its like an adventure to read of a place you have never visited before. You are always tempted to dig a little dipper on such places and aim on visiting such places. In the case of this book A Trip to Adele, it is more captivating as there are descriptions of the places mentioned n makes you eager to learn more of the places.

I like reading books about the places I haven't been, because it makes me imagine how things are done there. With the help of the book, it lets me imagine the scenery. Maybe sometime I would hope to visit and check if the things written in the book are perfectly described.

I've not been to a lot of places. I'm okay just by reading about it. If I would have the opportunity then, I would surely go.

Yes, I definitely love reading books about places I have never visited. There is more room for my imagination to be built by the narrative, and I get to "travel" there and explore new pathways, new stories, new experiences. For example, in the book "Yesterday," I got to travel to Chicago, a place I have only heard of by name. Now I feel like I have built an intimate picture of the place as the author presented it, and I definitely want to go there.

I live for these kinds of book! I remember reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and I felt like I teleported and at the same time, time-traveled in Afghanistan. It was not about the detailed description of the place but rather, how the story developed in that certain setting. The feeling is magical. :tiphat:

I love to read about place I have never been. I like to read the descriptions and paint a picture in my head. Some day I may visit some of the places and I'm sure some will be better and some worse than my imagination. Through these books though I get to go places I can't go in real life and have adventures I would never have in reality. I can be anyone anywhere and then still be me when the day is done. I do miss it when a really good book or series ends though because I get very involved!

Yes, I love reading such books of places I've never been. With the help of the writer (creative description), I'm able to make a mental picture and probably add certain things that the writer didn't include.

I love reading books about places I've never been before because it takes me places I'm unable to go. I wish I could travel and see the world l, but sadly I'm stuck in small town working my life away. Whenever books describe places I've never been before I feel teleported to that place and I can see it, feel it, and even smell it when the author gets that descriptive. One of my favorite books that describes different places I've never been would probably be Inkheart.
