There are some places mentioned in the story which bring memories like the opening of the story describing and discussing Rome Italy and Las Vegas, the Sin City. Places are memorable maybe because of a happy or a sad experience. What is the most memorable place you've ever been?

Mine is Paris. I visited there with my family a few years ago and loved any minute of it. I was in Las Vegas as well, but I enjoyed Paris more.

Hanoi, Vietnam. They had internal shop lots, restaurants and hotels everywhere. It is best to have a guide if you wish to tour all those hidden places. The people were really nice and polite and their food was, well, weird I guess... It was a culture shock for me to say the least. I loved their fruit juices the most. Freshly squeezed, yum. Also, the roads had no traffic lights and their primary mode of transportation were motorcycles. I rarely saw any cars. The funny thing is, you can literally cross the road anywhere, anytime and no harm will befall you. The drivers are very, very careful. Souvenirs were real cheap (except at the airport of course). I also got a chance to watch the infamous water puppets :D The only ominous part of that trip was the fact that my mom got cheated at the airport while trying to buy me candy :( All in all, it was a wonderful trip and I hope to go there again.

The most memorable? Definitely Scotland.

My family and I stayed in a quaint stationary train carriage that was renovated especially for holiday makers.
We stayed for two weeks, discovered kittens in an abandoned barn and hiked up mountains that towered into the clouds.

I was seven at the time but I have never forgotten that wonderful experience. :)

The most memorable place for me was Tikal Guatemala, it's an area of incredible Mayan ruins and to be around something that is so old and so huge was very humbling

The Cologne Cathedral and the Zugspitze. I visited these German landmarks 7 years ago. The cathedral was the oldest man-made building I've ever visited, and the Zugspitze was the first mountain I've been on, and it was a snowy peak, something else that was a first for me.

Verona, Italy. Tourists usually skip this city, but trust me there are lots of hidden germs of architecture. I can't compare it to Rome, I've never been there, but the beauty of Verona...well mesmerizing! If you ever go to Italy, please check it out, it's so close to Venezia.

I'm happy to see that my two most memorable places have already been mentioned before, Paris and Scotland (in my case, Edinburgh in particular). Such amazing cities, rich in history and culture. Even though Scots are more friendly and polite, and I love their lifestyle, Paris is a lovely city as I prefer using French language over English.

Scotland seems to be the location of the day. I have many wonderful memories from both Edinburgh and Inverness. The most haunting for me was the battlefield at Culloden. Standing there, I heard the music of a lone bagpiper drifting out across the moor.

I think the most memorable place I have ever been is this small island in the Caribbean. There is a such a different way of life there compared to where I grew up, it will forever stick in my mind.

I can only think of my own country. I already had my passport renewed, but I've never been to any foreign country. I wish I could in the near future.

The Rhine Valley in Germany. If I could ever pick a quaint, small village it would probably be on the Rhine. It was beautiful and peaceful, it's definitely on my list to take my husband some day.

That would be a tie between Disney World and Universal Orlando. I would love to take a trip to Epcot as an adult because I honestly feel like I would be able to appreciate it a lot more now. I was about 10 when I went to Disney and didn't really care for Epcot at the time.
