Favorite Musician or Band

Post by MarisaRose »

As we know, Adele and her music are at the center of this book. I like Adele but sometimes had a hard time connecting to the book because I don't know her music that well.

So who is your favorite musician or band?

I also really like Adele, but didn't know a lot of the songs used and then had to go and look them up. I love old school rock and music from the sixties and seventies. I really like when music is included in the story, it provides a different element as well as connecting with the reader

They change every few months since I like to discover new music and expand the number of genres I enjoy. Nowadays, I would say my two favourites are Diamanda Galas and Nicole Dollanganger. I have to be in a very specific mood to listen to their music, but they are my mid-twenties favourites.

I like Lea Salonga because i'm into musicals. I like her voice, how soulful it is. I sometimes like Adele too.

This is such a hard question because I am bilingual and I listen to musicians and bands in both Spanish and English. Right now my favorite musician is a rapper that goes by the name of Cannon - he shares his Christian faith through his music and it sounds amazing.

I have many favorite musicians. I think it depends on the music genre. For instance, if we are talking about pop music, I love Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars, Sheryl Crow and others. However, if we are talking about folk, I love Joni Mitchell, Jim Croce, and Jean Ritchie. Soul music: Tina Turner, Joss Stone, Alicia Keys and others. Reggae: Bob Marley, Shaggy, Freddy McGregor, and others. Wow! I just love music so much!

I like singer/song writers as their songs often tell a story that speaks to the human condition. Examples would be Billy Joel and Phil Collins.
Interested in books that help one's spirit move beyond the ordinary.

I'm pretty eclectic, so don't really have favorites. Or, more aptly, I have too many favorites

My all-time favorite band is Flaw. I loved their music. The vocalist voice... so soulful, he is a great storyteller. I also loved Adele btw. I can also relate to her music.

My all time favorite band is Bowling For Soup. David Bowie is tied with The Who as my favorite 60/70's music. Currently, I've been listening to a lot of Weird Al. I'm enjoying his absurd yet oddly intelligent parodies (who thought that you could turn Blurred Lines into an insightful grammar lesson)

I also love school rock but I prefer music from the 80s and 90s. I love the songs of Adele and I love Adele because she is a soul singer.
