Music is universal, anyone can understand music even if they do not understand the language the song is sang in.

I believe it is the lyrics that we can personally relate to and the hypnotic melody that makes you focus in the song. You can easily get lost in a song that directly speaks to you and listening to it in full volume takes you to another place that you would rather be in right in that moment. Good music is great escape especially when you listen with eyes closed.

Music is the nourishment to the soul.
It is an antidepressant,a motivator,a healer and a conduit for uniting people of different backgrounds and cultural heritage.
Music is the best tool for bonding people together and creating a sense of international brotherhood ,PEACE and LOVE.

Music has the ability to affect our moods, be it positively or negatively...Taking us to places of happiness, love and or nostalgia to sadness and or resentment. It is the tag to our emotional heart strings.

Life is not complete without music. Music is the window to our soul. It is a way that we can express ourselves.
Because if you've found meaning in your life, you don't want to go back. You want to go forward.

I think music just touches a part of us that nothing else can touch. It reaches deep into our core and can affect our entire mood and outlook on life. Music is a very powerful component of the human experience.

I would like to quote here one of Barry Manilow's songs: " I write the songs that make the whole world sing, I write the songs of love and special things, I write the songs that make the young girls cry.... Oh, my music makes you dance and gives you spirit to take a chance....Music fills your heart.... It's from me, it's for you. It's from you, it's for me. It's a worldwide symphony.... I am music and I write the songs!"

Need I say more?

Music kinda has a way of linking you to your inner world of peace and rhythmic sanctuary.. Very peaceful way of interacting with beats.

I think it is the production or instrumental background of music that affects us most. A piano instrumental vs a heavy bass and drum groove garners different responses and moods. Whenever I'm tired but have to stay up to finish some work, I always turn on upbeat music of any genre and within a few songs, I'm wide awake.

Music is just special because for every situation, every emotion, event there is a different song to connect to. Also the lyrics of some are just so beautiful and they readily describe the situation one may be facing at that point in time

Music is an expression of emotion. For many, it's a release, an outlet. When we feel that we could relate to the artist's own expression of emotion, it reminds us that we're all the same on the inside. We all feel pain, happiness, sadness, love, and so forth.

I think music is the one thing that all of us can turn to no matter what troubles we have. Especially those artists that are so passionate about their work and you can feel the emotion in their music. My favorite is Aaron Lewis. I can listen to any of his music and feel his pain, and be able to make any situation better.
