Have you ever had a relationship ruined before it began?

Post by Mszymonik »

I am thinking of two examples:

Isabelle living in the sewer immediately changed everything for Yaser. He no longer had those same feelings, though superficial, that he once had for her.

Elias learning of Malika's age.

Hi again Monica,

To answer your question, oh yes I had ??. Don't want to detail cuz I put it all in the past. I can only laugh to it now.

I believe I have. I didn't know that it was the case at the time but looking back now, I think that there was evidence to suggest that it failed before it even started.

No, I haven't but an almost relationship nearly happened - I emphasize on almost relationship because we had no relationship at all but the interest / attraction was there. We had a common place that we frequented. As soon as we started talking (that was like the first day, we actually sat down and talked to each other - ever) I realized that things weren't going to work and walked away without wasting time. Hehe.

Yep. I moved abroad a couple months after I met a dude. It didn't work out. It was all for the best, though.

I've had friendships ruined before they ever began. It was mostly the words of other people that caused it to happen. Also, there were many misunderstandings.

Yes, I informed a friend of the new relationship but I didn't know she was already envious, so she had to look out for the guy and told him a lot of negativities concerning me

Yes, sadly I did. I would actually be surprised of learning of anyone who didn't. Either a personal romantic or friendly relationship, or even business relationship. It's part of life I guess.

I can recall one or two such occasions. But they were never meant to be. I can only laugh at them now.
