That's funny because my husband mentioned to me the other day that he wished I was a bit more submissive. I was totally confused because I'm your typical American woman from New York so I don't know why he thought I would be the submissive type :) But, he said he meant he just wished I didn't have such strong opinions sometimes, so, now I just smile and nod when he talks :) I think I made him feel a bit unmanly at times, so is to be submissive a must in a marriage? Probably not, but it might help to keep the peace :)

I believe that marriage is a partnership but that requires some level of submission from both partners.
