I will definitely pick family. I admit that luxury is also important, the big difference is that you can't buy anything in this world and that includes family. Family has everything that you can wish for. If all things did not work out for you and all the people are already avoiding and judging but still you always have your family to help and care for you. It will be the only one who will still accept you regardless of the bad things you've done. They are always there to support you.

Even though doing things and using all your time to accomplish great is good, but luxurious life without having time with your family is not good. My extended-family is conspicuous as it will last forever.

Definitely family. Luxury is no substitute for relationships, love, and companionship. You can't buy genuine love from anyone with money and you can't use it to replace people you've lost. Also, after you live in luxury for a while you begin to take it for granted. When you can buy anything or anyone you want, how much value is there in that?

Nothing can be more luxurious than spending some quality time with your family.

The definition of luxury varies from people to people. For me, the idea of luxury is to be able to create a sustainable life for myself and my family members there-with leading them to spend a quality time with each other bereft of any worries.

I'd pick family because it gives one a sense of belonging when the individual understand the essence of it as one of social institutions within our societies.

I would rather have my family. Luxury or not, with them I know we will have a great time and their support means a lot more than all the money in the world.

Family, always family.
But the thing is: in some situations, for you to help your family, you have to go far away and work your ass off.
Then all you end up having is a bunch of lonely nights when all you wanted was to get home and have your parents to talk with you.
Still, family. Do all the choices you have to make to help them.

I choose family. I often ponder this when my girls say they want things that we can't afford. Ultimately I wish there was a balance, but how could I choose luxury over random hugs, cuddles, and being a daily influence in their lives?

Family memories last forever. Family will support you through thick and thin. Luxury wont stay forever. When the money is fiinished, you will lose your luxury

This is a tricky question. Given a chance, i would choose both but in the context of this question, i would choose family. With luxury, one may fail to enjoy and appreciate it for being nagged with that feeling of "my family is in trouble" and such. With a good family bonding, you can then enjoy luxury even though it may be "an imaginary luxury".
