No, I couldn't abandon my children in the way that that his father chose to do. And not letting his mom have a choice was reprehensible.

I absolutely agree with you on it being reprehensible to not give the mother a choice. I feel that what his parents did helped their son out in the long run. It would be a difficult decision personally.
