Best comment I've seen on here! I absolutely agree with this! Well said!Amagine wrote:I have a personal opinion that everyone wears a mask. No one is who they appear to be. That is why I'm never completely surprised when someone reveals another side to their character.

Excellent point! I agree, we all wear masks in our own way, even if we are not necessarily aware we are doing it. As someone with depression, I frequently wear a mask when I put on my happy face and go about my day as a seemingly friendly, cheerful person, when in reality that does not reflect what I feel or think. However, it's not something I do out of malicious intent. It's so that I don't worry others or affect any one else negatively. On the other hand, I've definitely met my fair share of two-faced jerks who do it to hide their true nature or to get away with something.ifeoma obike wrote:Everybody wears a mask, but the most important thing is why the mask is being worn. I completely agree with you. There is no one on Earth that is wholly honest and genuine. We all love to lie and deceive and we do it for a reason. Putting a mask or more is ubiquitous.Athena Moon wrote:Every story has it's characters and life is one big stage. We all play our roles and put on masks. We all are somebody else and pretend to be something else we can take advantage of. Every person I have met is hiding behind created personalities and first impression likely to be false
