Nice one. Sofia is an example of a strong woman who is trying to beat the odds.Emie Cuevas wrote:I think Sofia started out as a prostitute. Using her talents, I think she rose up through the ranks to run the business. Her place of business rents rooms for sex and she makes her cut. When she is given the chance to get out, I think she didn't take because she had worked to hard to get to where she was, and didn't want to give it up. There is also an element of independence, if she had given it up, she would effectively returned to be just another common prostitute.

This is what I thought of Sofia, too. It would be pretty interesting if she was another undercover agent, though. She did have some useful information gathering skills.Ren B wrote:I got the impression that she was exactly what the author described her as - a woman whom Godfredo paid for the pleasure of her company. If I recall correctly, she was already working/managing New Horizons before she met Godfredo. As far as Sofia not being her real name, I took that as the common practice for women in her line of work.

I agree with Ren B. That's what I thought too.Ren B wrote: ↑04 Aug 2017, 22:48 I got the impression that she was exactly what the author described her as - a woman whom Godfredo paid for the pleasure of her company.
