New possibilities and opportunities sound really great. New people, new places sound exciting.
Reading is an antidote for...
Anger
Burdens
Discouragement
Fears
Hopelessness
Loneliness
Sadness
Tiredness

Everything about it is exciting because I'm leaving behind a field that I fell into by accident and never really liked. This new job is something I've always dreamed about. It feels like the first step in the right direction and hence very exciting.
Looking forward to something you really love to do is exciting. Good luck to your new job.

I feel excited about new people, new experiences, new lessons and everything new. You never know what to expect.

I typically have a pretty solid work ethic, but when I work a job for years and the boss is a jerk and everyone else is lazy I grow lazy quickly as well. As such, one of the best things about a new job for me is regaining that drive to work hard and do my best. I'm also always excited about the people I work with, as I've become pickier and pickier about coworkers as I age. I also love doing something new - most jobs become rather repetitive and lose their challenges as time goes on, so a new job means new challenges and knowledge!

I would get excited about finding a 'good fit' in a career: something that matches my interests and strengths/skills and that feels like an opportunity rather than a necessity.

The change of environment, meeting new friends, going to new places, having new adventures, faces different changes and lot more. And for a person like me who loves change, positive change offcourse would love a change in my career. But for now, am happy doing what am doing.

Personally, I would never choose my career over someone that I loved. I would just find a way to make them work together. To answer the question though, what would make me excited about a new career would be the idea of being able to do something that I love doing for a living. I don't want to be one of those people who hates their job, so I would choose to enjoy my job no matter what it is and make sure that it is a good environment for me.

Indeed, this is what we all want. We all want to realize what we want one step at a time.

For the most exciting thing about a new career is the fact I am going to be learning something new. I get to grow and learn with a new job as well as expand on who I am and what I stand for.

I also love new beginnings. That feeling of freshness, that there's no mistakes made yet to live down, the feeling of endless possibilities...although I must say, starting a new career in specific can turn into an overwhelming thing at first as you learn the ropes.
