I used to keep a journal until my teens but it became a source of anxiety since I didn't want anyone to ever find it.
That is so sweet! I was thinking of doing something similar when I had children.KeriCraven wrote:I actually keep two journals. One for each of my girls.
My grandmother had a notebook where the top half the page was blank and the bottom was lined. I would draw a picture and she would write my descriptions (I was too young to write). Usually it was whatever we did that day. I still have it and I am always surprised by some of the small things that fade with time. Keeping a journal is definitely a way to capture those tiny moments and keep them from fading.
Yikes and same. I resolved to burn everything I don't want anyone to find. My aunt found a pack of old letters from a long deceased relative and unfortunately they were hilarious lovey-dovey letters and school delinquent notes. The note on the box said to burn it upon their death but it's still floating around in her attic. Talk about lesson learned...Ashley Simon wrote:Though it does scare me sometimes to know that if I die, there will be pages and pages of my thoughts just floating around for someone to read
