I had posted earlier. But I might hangs to octopus. I just read The Soul of an Octopus and although the narrative completely falls apart whenever the octopuses (as I learned, not octopi) are not the focus of the story, the creature is absolutely amazing. Borderline uncannily intelligent--like an advanced alien that just happened to get trapped in our ocean. Really cool creatures.

Dolphins and whales. At some point, I'd like to watch the whales calving in San Ignacio Bay...

Haven’t really thought about it. I'd say Dolphins. Soft, friendly and intelligent.

Dolphin is quite amazing! I wouldn't mind watching it all day do the flip flops. Dolphins are also human friendly and won't harm.

I would say a dolphin, followed by a whale. But I also find the octopus interesting.

I haven't thought about it before, but I'd have to say the sea slug. Besides looking like normal land slugs, there are many that look so much like plush toys or cartoon mascots. The sea angel is one of them, and I find them very beautiful.

My favorite sea creature is also definitely the dolphin. They are so intelligent, family-oriented, and dolphins Just Want to Have Fun. What a life! If there is such thing as reincarnation, I think that would be a great way to go on the next go-round.

I never though about this before, but since i have such a passive personality. I would have to say a dolphin. They are not very aggressive , but they still no what they need to do.

My favorite sea creature has to be the octopus. I think all the cartoon portrayals of octopi are cute and who wouldn't want to touch that shiny head or shake one of those eight arms?

My least favorite sea creature has to be anything prickly. When/if I get a chance to go scuba diving, I don't want to get stung or scrape myself on those creatures! I just want to enjoy the colorful coral reefs and marvel at the scaly wonders of the ocean.

If I am being whimsical then my favorite sea creature is definitely a mermaid. I love the idea of living in the sea.
Realistically, my favorite sea creatures are bio-luminescent zooplankton. They make water look as though it is filled with thousands of LED lights and the effect reminds me of the movie Avatar.
