I do enjoy reading books on people's experiences. Especially if the book is well written and you feel like you are part of the story. It makes you appreciate the lives of those people in relation to yours

Yes, when you read about someone else's life it does make you feel like that you are part of the story.

I'm with Spirit Wandering. Autobiographies and travel books just don't do it for me. With the former, either they're living a terrible life and I'm already living a hard life of my own, so I don't need or want to read about someone else's. But at the same time, I don't care to read about others having what I can only dream about, either.

That's an honest answer

Yes. I draw so much from reading books about someone else's life and experiences. This also applies to the experiences of close friends. At times, I seem to eternalize the experiences of other people to the extent that I feel they were mine. Of course, I benefit from the lessons learnt from them when I face similar challenges.

Yes, I like reading about other people's experience because they are often from a different country or city. I love reading about different places and reading about people's lives are a way for me to visit other countries without leaving the coach.

Yes books have a way of letting us travel without us having to move out feet.

I like reading biographies, autobiographies, memoirs, etc. mainly because they provide an opportunity to learn from the lives of others.

They do help us to learn so much.

Definitely. How else would I ever experience the joys of a wildlife vet in Africa, an explorer in Antarctica, sailing around the world in a yacht, or an astronaut landing on the moon. Some people live the adventure, guess I'll only read about it, but at least I get a share.

I think books are all written about either someone else's life or their imagination. Since I love reading books I think I could say I love reading about people's lives.

Sure. To think that someone actually went through al that I am reading will have me turning those pages. I like the idea that someone is sharing their story and giving me an opportunity to relieve that particular moment with them. Whether I agree with the decisions or not, I get to understand from someone else's perspective.
