Do you think women should speak out more about their abuse experiences?

Post by E Daves »

In this book, Tina shared her sexual abuse experience in her work place and when she was looking for a job. She also talked about people she sought their opinions on whether or not she should share this experience in her book and the various responses she got.

From their responses, we saw that they had different opinions. What about you? What is your opinion on the matter? Do you think women should speak out more about their abuse experiences?

I think they should speak up. Speaking up makes them stronger and weakens abusers and oppressors.

It takes a-lot of courage to speak out on a traumatic experience like that but I believe that speaking up will give rise to making sure that justice is done.

Even though speaking out can be very difficult, I do believe that women should speak our more because it helps and brings out more courage and inspiration.

It takes a great deal of courage to speak up against rape and sexual crimes, but I'll do a lot of good for both the victim and the society.

I wish it was easy for women to speak out without the fear of stigmatization and discrimination from people. It is not really easy.

I think women should speak up even though it can be very traumatizing and difficult i still believe is worth the risk.

Yes, I very much think women should speak up more on their experiences so younger people do not also fall victims and they too can get all the necessary help they need.
