What is a dream you would like to accomplish?

Post by Amagine »

In the book, the author mentions that it has always been a dream of hers to travel. In the book, we see her accomplish this dream.

What is a dream that you have that you want to accomplish? What steps do you need to take it to make it happen?

My biggest dream right now is to write and illustrate a children's book. I have illustrated a few books before, but never done both. I'm hoping to accomplish this dream some time next year.

I live on 40 acres in central Maine and am working to be self sufficient and semi-retired from my business. I would also like to do some writing.
Interested in books that help one's spirit move beyond the ordinary.

Every one of us has different dreams in life. I, too have a lot of dreams which I want to accomplish within my unknown length of life existence. Since I don't know when my life be stopped, I make a dream of within my college days. Before I graduate in college, I wanted to have an extra income while studying so I can help my mother in financial matters. If God let me extend my life till my 30, I would like to have my own house and lot, stable income, a healthy body for my family and be married at the age of 28. If I will live till 50, I would like to spend more time with my parents because they are aging and might lose them anytime so I want to spend my life with them. I want to make their dreams come true like traveling and vacation. If that time comes I know for sure I got 2-3 kids in their teen age. So I might spend my time with them too. To get this dream of mine, first I have to study well. Second, find job and make business. Third, have free time for family.

I would love for my poetry to take off and become an author to numerous collections! The steps for this is to continue writing quality poems, marketing myself through spoken word venues, entering competitions when I can and submitting my work to be published and featured. I am doing all the above now and seeing results, but am not fully there yet. I have been writing since eighth grade, but realistically it has been serious since my junior year of high school. I made an instagram and share my work as well as read my work aloud on there for feedback as well as on my youtube page. It's been a great experience thus far.

My dream, which I have had for years, would be to go provide nursing and midwifery care in an area which could really benefit from it, whether it be in a third-world, war-torn or natural disaster affected country. What do I need to achieve this? To be financially self-sufficient to go away and volunteer for a significant length of time and for my family to be in good health, both physically and emotionally, to enable me to do this. One day...

I also lots of dreams that I would love to accomplish. I would love to travel, by air, sea and railway at least once. I want a dream house with an entire wing/section/room as a library, containing books from my favorite authors and new ones I'd be steadily sampling. But the nearest to accomplishment currently is the deep desire to rearrange my life to accommodate earning a stable income solely by reading books, writing reviews on them and honing my skills to become a top notch public speaker. I truly want to achieve this before the year runs out.

There are just too many dreams to choose from... I think I'd go for my (probably) biggest dream - moving to Scotland or Ireland. From there, I could easily achieve all of my other dreams. Hopefully after finishing my studies I'll be able to do that, but education is currently a priority.

We have the exact same dream! :D

I also want to someday write a children's book. I want to be a influential writer as well whose books make a difference in people's lives. That is my ultimate dream.

My dream is to be a successful studio artist - not crazy famous or anything, just successful in my sphere and comfortable enough to live and not just exist.
