What kind of tourist are you/would you be?

There are so many kinds of tourists: eco, foodies, adventure, architectural, museum, etc. etc....
What kind are you/would you be? Or are you a mix of different types?

I'm a mix. There are countless things I'd like to do and see, as well as countless reasons for them all.

That's a difficult question. I think I'd be a mix as well. You can't go to a foreign country without sampling the cuisine. Yet you also have to see the sights.

I'm a museum tourist. I love visiting different museums and learning some history about/from them.

I would be the inquisitive Indiana Jones kind.

If I had the money I would definitely be an architectural tourist. And I say this as someone who can't stand the countless tourist groups that fill the old town every year.

I used to be an adventure tourist, in my younger days. These days I call myself an 'executive backpacker' - I'm quite happy to travel with a backpack on any kind of transport, but at the end of the day I want a comfortable, clean bed and a bathroom I don't have to share!

A museum/nature mix - I enjoy learning about a place's history from its museums as well as collecting stones from its countryside.

I love sampling new foods and taking in my surroundings slowly. I'd rather not be rushed. I feel like I miss something, or don't properly enjoy myself.

As a tourist, I am a fan of historical landmarks and monuments, museums, and natural spaces. I love learning about the history and culture of the places I visit. I also enjoy tasting different cuisines.

I, too, enjoy learning about the culture and history. Museums, landmarks, and such are always interesting to me. Even when visiting one I've been to before, I see something I didn't catch during my other visits.

I am definitely a foodie tourist. I love sight seeing of course anywhere I go, but the food is what I travel for. :D

I would say that I'm a mix too. We love exploring foods and enjoy learning about the culture via museums, walking the local streets, eating in local restaurants, etc. Bu we also like a bit of down time (with perhaps a beach to vegetate on).

I would travel to see different species in the wild. *cough* sharks *cough*
Big surprise.

I've also thought seeing old libraries would be interesting.

But museums, architecture, and just places draw me. :D
