I had the opportunity to go whale watching in Dominican Republic. Seeing these huge creatures surface straight up out of the water and fall flat is extraordinary. It was truly amazing! Wish I could do it again.

I haven't spent much time at sea but the times I have been, I have gotten extremely sea sick. The easiest memory for me to recall was a fishing trip where someone caught a shark on their line while deep sea fishing and it began pulling the boat along with it attempting to flee. We were on a good sized boat so I was shocked at how it was able to pull it. I was younger too so it scared me pretty bad.

I can't forget when we swim together holding hands , 3 of my cousins and me. But, withdraw my hands cause i know it's deep. My three cousins continued to swim. After, a while, my 3 cousins got drawn, 2 survived luckily but the other one died. From then on i am afraid at the sea.

I was in the cabin of a fairly big ship (six stories, we were on the top level), and a wave broke over the top of the boat. I couldn't believe that water could get that rough. The crew was amazingly competent - I don't even know if they were nervous or if it was par for the course.

I went swimming (snorkeling) with dolphins in Mozambique (Africa).

I would highly recommend this! It is a bucket-list experience.

A cruise is definitely on my bucket list. I can think that you witness a lot of amazing things and sea animals

I've been on a few beach trips. Nothing special. I live on an island so I don't really get that excited about the ocean. I do love it though. It's a dream of mine to go on a cruise. I haven't had any unforgettable experience at sea now that I think about it.

I recall this embarrassing incident in a beach resort in Vietnam. I can't swim. The ocean was rolling, with waves coming one after another. One wave knocked me out of balance, then another wave crashed with me still sprawled in the water. I almost drowned. And the water was only shin-deep!

I have a horrible fear of the water and I cannot swim. My husband, on the other hand, loves to fish. We even have a boat. This past summer we went to Texas and as a special birthday gift for him, we went on two charter fishing trips, both of which took us way far out into the Gulf of Mexico.

The first trip, I was so sick the entire time I'm pretty sure I lost about 5 pounds, but he caught many unique fish that he never would've caught back home so he was happy and I was happy for him.

The second trip, I was not as sick, and I even caught a tuna and he caught a shark and other fish that again he would not be able to catch back home.

Those fishing charters were very memorable for both of us.

I've never actually been out to sea, but I DO have a couple awesome memories on water. One was on a "duck" - it's a vehicle that can drive on land AND go into the water and work like a boat. The other was just the couple times I was able to go to Disney World late at night and take the boat over to one of the parks, it was such a gorgeous sight and the wind was soooooo nice in such a horribly hot place.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

I also love this! It brings back so many childhood memories of whale watching with the family on holidays.
