To succeed without a challenge is a rare gift, but not impossible. I think in general, challenges are a form of spiritual preparation that test your will and resolve. Some of the greatest triumphs come after tears, and it makes the accomplishment all the more rewarding because of the adversity you've overcome.

I don't believe in success without challenges, its never a walk in the park if the results are authentic. Everything good is worked out
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.

Challenges are definitely needed for growth. Without them, how will we learn? For that matter, without them, how will life ever be interesting?

I think you definitely need challenges to grow as a person. Some of my favorite characteristics in myself have come enduring very personal trials.

Yes challenges are needed for growth and success. You can't learn new stuff if things aren't challenging.

Challenges are needed for growth and success. Challenges are obstacles to the next level, so when challenges are overcome, there is a victory.

Challenges give us a chance to find who we truly are as people, I think. Strengths, weaknesses, our abilities to adapt and evolve. It broadens our minds, adds to personality and can be valuable. There are days I hate the 'challenges' thrown at me but I know they are what made me who I am today.

You grow stronger with every mistake. Learning is the key because without it, you can't change. You learn more by taking on challenges, and by overcoming them, you are brought closer to success.

For me, challenges is important to us and it would be part of the whole process in order to achieve success. Because challenges builds your character. You cannot achieve every goal without challenges because it measures your knowledge, endurance and perseverance that every achievement requires.

I absolutely agree that we need challenges in our lives. Even for little things, such as the types of books we read. I try to commit to one or two each year (in addition to my GoodReads challenge) because it pushes me to work toward something, rather than waste away.

I also have several challenges and goals set aside for myself in the new year. I think it's important we try to challenge ourselves a little each day. For me, because of my bad health, I challenge myself to get up each morning and enjoy life; I challenge myself to spend some time reading and if I'm feeling up to it, going out and doing things.

There must be lows and disappointment in order to learn and appreciate the high points and success. Through the struggles we experience, we learn lessons, we adapt our approach, learn new techniques for dealing with situations, we grow, and our perspective changes. We appreciate things more and it can drive us to work harder.
