She was named Strong Heart because of her conviction. Despite all odds, physical hurt, and internal turmoil, the protagonist did not fail in her endeavour, be it paddling the boat, adjusting to new people, or reading thoughts. Her thin frame did not define her ability, and she proved it by working harder than ever. The character of Strong Heart is quite similar yet unlike Sarah.

Sarah is the epitome of what her native name stands to signify, indeed.

I agree. Our individual perspectives could indeed vary. Even the most similar-looking twins could still have inherent differences much more so those who aren't born the same. It's good we've got a forum where we could connect with as well as learn from or about each other's ideas and thoughts.

I think it's the ability to heal and mend after it's been hurt, broken and shattered and the courage to forgive the person that broke it and to continue loving. It's about the courage to be vulnerable even with the risk and experience of pain.

I think different people would define it in different ways. I'm going to go with a definition I once heard of character that I think can also be applied to heart: belief in an absolute system of right or wrong combined with the willingness to do what's right no matter what the consequences.
