I think it was more of plot-based especially since the tale lasted what seemed like forever. I would have liked to have been able to get to know the characters more. Especially Tom, Myra, William and Sarah because when they were together I did enjoy reading about them.

I think the story was more character driven. It revealed the qualities and eccentricities of each of the characters through the interaction they have with each other. That helped in explaining the decisions they make to further the plot. The story also showed how each one of them showed a strong heart at different points in the story.

Every character was interesting. That's the base of a good story.

It was definitely plot driven. The characters didn’t have enough fullness to do more than push it along.

I thought the interaction between the characters were exceptional while the story has historical facts, native culture, past legends and flows with a spiritual quest making the story very interesting.

I think it was more plot driven than character driven. While I liked tbe story it was hard to connect with the characters at times.

According to me, the story was partially plot based and character driven and it is evident in the book

There was a healthy mix of plot and character, though some characters could have been fleshed out more than they were.

Some of each, but I think the character-driven part was more about Sarah.

I think it was plot driven, the characters were important, but most important was the culture, legends and the need to protect that.

I felt that it was more character driven. I'm certainly ready to read the second installment and hope that the plot and the characters become more developed.

I think it was plot-based as well as character driven. The story unfolded well enough all the way through. The plot was well outlined. At the end though, the strength of the characters was obvious. The adults never gave up on looking for Sarah. This is what made the story more real for me.

I think it was both. Bob-Bob is sort of an implicit character that plays a huge role in the plot; after all, the others were trying to reach his grave.
