My favourite character was William. He encouraged Tom to give Sarah a chance inspite of her arrogance when they first met. He wanted Tom to bond with his grand daughter at the Olympics. He tried to see the good in Sarah. A loyal friend to Tom he took the artifact for carbon dating and convinced Sergei to return to Olympics with them. He never left Tom's site during the search for Sarah. Inspite of being physically worn out.

My favorite was Tom, although there was none that I could relate to completely.
To read or not to read? That's not even a question!

I really enjoyed Sergei, his character was kind and loyal. He also was so open to believing Sarah even though her story would seem impossible.

I think William was my favorite character. He was wise and funny and patient with all of the other strong willed characters. He had interesting adventures and drove the storyline at times. Towards the end of the novel, on the second hike, I became really concerned for his well being. I would hope if I read Adrift, that I would find him still alive and returned to health. Tom was unnecessarily harsh towards Sarah, Sarah was a bratty teenager though I understand, and Myra had her own flaws at times. William was my favorite.

I loved Sarah even though she is an irritating kid but her character defines the title of the book.

This was not a book that I appreciated a lot. That was primarily because I did not like the characters. Sarah definitely is the central character. And though portrayed as brave and spirited, I did not but her adventure story. So I would say Myra was my favorite. Until Sergei came into picture, she was the most balanced and tolerable character.

My favourite character was also Sarah. Her character was shaped very good and i liked knowing the story from her way. I liked how she learned new things in a short period of time and adjusted to new environment easily.

It'd be hard to choose someone other than Sarah as she was actually pretty likeable and bore the mantle of the main protagonist. I'd say that I like how the characters affected each other, like the tension between Myra and Sergei, how Tom and Sarah bonded and so on.

Yeah, Myra was definitely my favorite character too. I admired her wisdom, resourcefulness, and passion to protect the beliefs of the tribe.

I didn't have a favorite character but I was least annoyed by Sarah. She is young, spirited, courageous, and a very talented artist.
