I believe they have lots of similarities from their struggles to bravery. They are in a way kindred spirits.

They are both stubborn to the point that you might believe strong heart is Sarah's past life or something of the kind.

Sarah's weak, frail appearance is what encourages you to look deeper to find her strength, which is her heart. Strong Heart parallels her modern day story with one from the past. Perhaps she even possesses that ancestral spirit.

Sarah is the epitome of Strong Heart and vice versa. The strength within that supersedes all of life's chaos is what they have in common.

Strength is the main factor between them. The name of the book and the courage of the book are same

Both Sarah and Strong Heart are brave. Sarah, although shown as a naive and insolent young girl, survived the harsh realities of life very early in her life. Strong Heart, utterly confused with her own identity, maturely handles every situation. She is brave enough to understand her worth among the new people. Both characters are very strongly opinionated, does not falter in the times of need, and throws themselves between danger and the innocent.

They are both one and the same with exactly the same traits the only difference is the time frame.

Both of them are strong teen, each one with their own difficulties, but they are able to affront their problems. Sara is running away from abuse, and Strong Hart is going through a kidnapping.

I think they both displayed strong will, perseverance and bravery. I liked that we got to see Sarah's personality and behaviour before she became Strong Heart, so we were able to juxtapose the two and compare them.

Sarah is an independent thinker. She makes her decisions based on what she thinks is best or right, not according to what others (even adults) want her to do. She is very brave and self-reliant and can see others in their true light. When we meet Sarah as "Strong Heart," we see a much deeper, richer picture of her independence and bravery. We see her spot the true nature of Cold Eyes and the motives of Pretty Face.
