I think yes. She has tolerated so many difficulties all because of having a strong heart.

Yes. I believe she is deserving of her name. In a survival situation, she pulled her own weight and supported others. That is incredibly important. She more than lived up to her name in the end.

After reading the book do you think that Strong Heart deserves her name? Why do you think that?
I think that Strong Heart is a fitting name for Sarah. The misbehavior that she shows in the beginning of the story was a result of her harsh life. This misbehavior could be confused with being headstrong. But, hidden behind it, was a valorous person: courageous, risk-taker and selfless when it came to important matters. Strong Heart was definitely an appropriate nickname.
To read or not to read? That's not even a question!

She does deserve her name. She endured rowing the canoe for hours and only stopped when Thin Hair told her to. In just under a month she became one of the best throwers, being acknowledged even by Thrower himself. She showed patience when Pretty Face stole her credit for killing the wolf and even when he was clearly in the wrong she did not lose her temper. Out of all the characters, Stong Heart is the most deserving of her name.

:tiphat: Strong Heart is a perfect name for her. She faced challenges growing up and then was sent to live with a grandfather that never knew she existed. The mystic adventure she went on while lost on their camping trip sounded terrifying, but she survived and fought her way back home because of her " strong heart".

She definitely deserve the name "Strong Heart". She was petite but it didn't stop her from rowing the boat inspite of her hands bleeding. She came face to face with a wild cat and survived the attack. She killed a wolf with a dart. Through the hash weather, attacks from animals, deaths, starvation and her near brush with her own death. Sarah never lost hope.

Yes! Sarah totally deserves that name. She went through both physical as well as mental challenges still never lost courage.

Yes, she deserves the name. She had faced so much since her childhood. Losing both her parents and coming to a new place where no one knows her and she doesn't know anyone but still she adapt to the environment. When she got missing and got the name Strong heart that journey of being alone and not knowing the language, starting life from a new point makes her a strong heart. The name is justified.

I think Sarah perfectly embodies the Strong Heart title. Her story when delivered definitely reinforces this point. Her story is one of loyalty, faith and courage, which seems like a pretty strong heart to me.

I think Sarah was very deserving of her "strong heart" name considering all she had been though in life. Her mother neglected her, she was abused, and she survived 8 days alone in a cold winter forest.
