Wow.. I want to visit this place at-least once in my lifeCharlie Sheldon wrote:Boy Lazy - there are 900 miles of hiking tails in this million-acre park and wilderness area. This is a hiker's park - by that I mean you need to walk to get into it, there are very few roads, and much of the best country is a full day or two days' hike just to reach - but there is one road on the north side to Hurricane Ridge from which you can see much of the interior from up high.

Alaska sounds like a beautiful place as well!CaitlynLynch wrote:I haven't been there, but I did once cruise up the Inside Passage from Vancouver to Alaska, and I remember just days of gazing at land which seemed untouched by man. Beautiful and stark.

That seems like such a peaceful and serene trip. Sometimes it's good to get away from cell phones, television and social media. It would be like a break from the world.Charlie Sheldon wrote:I was just up in Denali in Alaska, the national park there, on an unbelievable adventure in the back country..

Yes, it is indeed beautiful. I haven't been there, but these pictures tell it all that the author did a wonderful job with the descriptions. Only that the long detailed descriptions got in the way of the smooth flow of the story at times.Christina Rose wrote:Oh, wow! Very beautiful!
