I've been there! I grew up north of Seattle and we'd take the ferry over and explore! Bike rides, hiking, and in some cases driving. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the descriptions were very accurate. I loved reading through and revisiting memories of the forests as well as the small towns called out in the book.

I have never been there, but the author descriptions were really vivid, and I was able to see what he wanted to show.

I never went there but surely the author had planted an image in my mind.

@Gravy thank you so much for the picture, I didn't imagine it to be that beautiful. I guess the author didn't describe it adequately.

I have never been to that part of the United States, but the detailed descriptions in the book definitely make me wanting to go there some time.

I've never been. One of the things I love about Sheldon's books is the ability to paint vivid images with his words. I looked up images and see some in this forum thread that match up almost exactly with the descriptions in the book.
