I think it was plot-based driven. The characters were not described in depth but description of the peninsula describes the plot best.

According to me the book is character driven. It does not have a strong plot. Sarah is the main character of the story. She has driven the plot of the book. The stories she told drew my interest towards the book.

Interesting. I thought the opposite as the other characters weren't that spectacular.

It had the potential to be both, but I'm going to say plot driven, due to the "story within a story" concept, and the multiple conflicts going on in the story.

I also felt that it was more plot based. I liked several of the characters but they lacked depth.

I'd love to say it was mostly plot based, however I learr just enough of the characters to get close to them. The verdict would be - both.
