It was hard to follow.. I agree.
I didn't have a hard time following those scenes. I think its because Iliked them the most.

I actually enjoyed the hiking scenes the most. Especially after Strong Heart's story, as Sarah had matured a lot, and was more trusting and appreciative of her new family.

The hiking scenes were decent.

I also think that Pretty Face influenced her more than any one else.

There is always something that makes Sarah standout whenever she's amongst any social gathering, personally i think claiming her pretty face impacted on her strong heart would be unfair, thanks but i would like ton go with everything

It wasn't really her face that impacted her. We're saying a certain character had an impact on Strong Heart.

All the characters played their parts, but mostly Thrower for me.
What you want is 15 Christmases on December 25th, 15 birthdays, 15 years of sleeping next to him and waking up with him

I think Thrower was most influential. He taught her a skill that she carried over into her present life which turned out to be very useful.

Like others, I found this portion of the book hard to follow because it could be difficult to keep up with all of the characters. There were few who stood out from the crowd. I would have to say Thrower had the most influence on her.

Aside Pretty Face, another character that affected Sarah negatively was Cold Eye. She was some sort of a bully to Sarah and the other captives.

Cold Eye had her eye on Thrower too. But Thrower seemed to fancy Sarah. There's the love triangle angle.

I'd have to agree with the majority and say Thrower.
