Would "Strong Heart" work as a film?

Reading Strong Heart, I can't help but think it would look lovely on TV and would really bring the location to life. You could have some beautiful scenery.

Do you think the story would adapt well to screen? If not, why not? Do you imagine any particular actors as certain characters? Is there anything that could be changed for a TV audience?

It's amazing what they make into films. I mean I never thought they would make the book Where the Wild Things Are into a movie, but... So I say anything can work as a movie...

This is true. I was surprised when they made a movie of "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" There seems to be a lot of films and shows based on books appearing recently. You can't please everyone with the adaptations though.

It will probably be a good movie, but maybe shorter since most of the detailed descriptions will now be missing.

They would have to condense a lot of stuff.

I think it could be good movie IF they broke up the Strong Heart's stories a bit throughout, like flashbacks, instead of in huge chunks as in the novel.
