I'd also avoid calling anyone evil. The bad choices and actions are evident, though.

I agree with you that a person should not consciously sacrifice ethics just for wanton personal wants and gains.

I also think the same way. His choices have negative implications.

Add the fact that he's the head of the company that's trying to destroy Native American land and think its totally okay to practically hire mercenaries to intimidate and threaten people into silence definitely doesn't help his case either. I hope he answers for all of it.

Buckhorn's all about the money. You can call that evil. I would. :P

If he did sexually assault Sarah he does have problems. It didn't really get into it that much.

I don’t think he is evil. He was just doing his business and didn’t thought about native people. He was just thinking about his business. So he was not evil just pure businessman.

I'm a little confused with the wording of your question. Buckhorn is the company, which unfortunately, seems to allow its employees to use whatever means necessary to secure what the company desires. Since it's tolerated, and maybe even encouraged, I think it would be safe to say that Buckhorn as a whole is crossing the line in regards to adhering to the code of ethics. Yet in today's society, it's probably more common than we'd like to believe. Evil? Perhaps. Taking advantage of depressed economies? Absolutely.

I think Buckhorn was just business oriented, and he does this to survive just like every other business person. So he is not evil.

I think Buckhorn is one of those entities that place money over values, i.e., the parents of capitalism. I can't say for sure that Buckhorn is evil, though their dealings come off as sleazy and suspicious. Adrift tells us more about them.

I don't think he is evil. He has got his objective, and that is to build a mine. He doesn't care about preservation, Native American culture, or ancient history. On the other hand, his company will probably produce more cash flow and job opportunities in the area. So, nothing is black and white. He is not likable but he is not evil either.

I personally do not think that he is evil. Saying someone is evil does not sound alright to me.
