I liked the Island adventure. Jennifer felt guilty for leaving the team. I saw adventure, sex and romance.

I noticed a number of themes in the book which include passion, struggle, sympathy and somehow SEX

I would say identity, friendship, loyalty, duty and exploration. As much as it focuses on the romance and erotica, I wouldn't say that those were themes, but rather aspects or subgenres into which the book would fall into. It also takes a look at gender roles and ideologies, so there's that as well.
