I think that it is not at all my type of read. I don't think of reading the next one, I am too bored.

I just finished the first book and immediately looked for the next one in the series! I hope to see more character development and interaction, now that Crimson is reunited and back to their starting point. I'm also looking forward to seeing Brimstone's powers evolve.

Definitely. I very much enjoyed reading this book and am hoping that OBC will put the next one up for review as well. (*Hint, hint* Scott!!)

I am planning on reading it for sure. I like how Rose challenges your initial perceptions of different characters, so i'm interested to see where he takes Brimstone. As he got more powerful it felt like he was starting to go down the path of not being totally ethical but doing it for the "right reasons".. so I'm curious how that will pan out.

Sequels make me feel like there's something unfinished in my list. That is why I'll read the next one... because I know it exists and I wanted to know what will happen at the school.

I actually went looking for the second book in the series and was disappointed it wasn’t available yet! In addition to seeing Brimstone get his soul restored (and the incredibly strong mage he will become by doing so), and seeing what has been happening at the school, I am hoping for more development of the relationship between he and Heat.

I did not find it interesting for my age group. I do not plan to proactively look for the next in the series.

I probably will, I'm interested to know what Brimstone can achieve after he retrieves the rest of his powers!

I was absolutely disappointed that the first book was the only one out at the time I read it. To say I was excited to immediately read the next book is an understatement. I can't wait for the second book to come out, so I can read it.
Books and stories provide wonderful knowledge and lessons, but I must agree with my father that experience garners wisdom.

I do intend to read both because the book's title sounds like my kind of genre. So certainly, I'll be reading The Brimstone Chronicles.
