I too felt that it was bound to happen. Personally, I think it was bound to happen. There were instances earlier in the novel when Brimstone showed such care for Heat. I’m definitely in favor of these two moving forward with their relationship. Even though it will surely never be easy for the two, I feel like it is highly unlikely they will find a stronger connection with anyone else. I hope their young love has room to flourish.
