"...cheerfulness in the face of rudeness, tolerance in the face of discourtesy, and forgiveness in the face of intrusiveness..." - this became my favourite quote even before I read the book. After reading the book I understood the context in which the author had used this, but I am actively trying to apply the lesson in my dealings with people every day.

I came across several quotes while reading the entire book but my favourite was "When you settle for nothing less than excellence, you become part of a rare species that's in huge demand."

I was having trouble deciding until I saw your post. This one wins, especially tolerance in the face of discourtesy. You can't go wrong with these three prescriptions. Thanks!

I know it's already been quoted (I checked), but I really like "I just decided not to die." That one, for a multitude of personal reasons, really speaks to me. I've struggled with a lot of things in my life and have been faced with a lot of touch decisions and inner demons. This quote sticks out because it's something I can connect with on a deep level.

Yeah, I love that quote the most. It is only because I am too lazy to take action and it reminds me that taking action is the only way to fulfill my dreams.
